Edison mail has rolled back a software update that apparently let some users of its iOS app see emails from strangers’ accounts. The update apparently lets users of the app see email from strangers.

Edison users contacted the verge to report seeing the glitch. The update was meant to allow users to sync data across devices.

The company is contacting the impacted Edison mail users to notify them.’some of these users are experiencing a flaw in the app impacting email accounts that was brought to our attention this morning,’ the company said.

A software update rolled out to a small percent of our users yesterday. We are urgently working to resolve the technical problem in Edison mail.
