The 2020 edition of the Dota 2 tournament, known as the international, will no longer happen this summer. The event was set to take place at the Ericsson globe arena in Stockholm this August. Valve says it does n’t know when it can announce concrete dates going forward.

Last year’s edition, which took place in Shanghai, boasted a prize pool of more than $ 30 million. The International has run annually since 2011.

The Overwatch league moved to an online-only format alongside the call of duty league. Epic Games announced that it would no longer host a 2020 Fortnite World Cup.

The 10th international prize pool will be funded by 25 % of sales of the next battle pass. The battle pass will be released soon instead of closer to the event itself.
