Jay Z coming to Chicago on the second leg of his world tour Nuked 4 December 2019 Overall Jay Z is bringing his very special shows to Chicago – the second show of two in only two days. Jay Z has a very big following with his hit singles like “Empire State of Mind” and “Heart of the City” – both hits songs that have become a part of our national lexicon. Jay Z is no stranger to performance – especially live performance – as he’s played the largest arenas and watched huge crowds on huge stages. Jay Z, along with his incredible backup band, Knowles siblings and other special guests – such as Kendrick Lamar and Alicia Keys – are taking over the United Center in Chicago on Dec. 5-6 with two shows. Jay Z, and the tour that comes before and after the two Chicago performances, is making stops all over the U.S. and Canada. Jay Z and his music changed the way I heard hip hop music- specifically his third album, “Vol. 3… Life and Times of S. Carter” – and I think it is a byproduct of the people that came to love his music for this reason. I hope to see the new merchandise available and even get in line to purchase a T-shirt or hoodie signed by Jay Z. This tour began in Newark, New Jersey on Nov. 20 – and currently has over 220 dates throughout the U.S. and Canada – so if you are in the area and see something you like, you should definitely go to a show! Jay Z’s “Encore” show is at 4 p.m. Friday and sold out, but tickets are still available for the following show – the “Encore” show is at 7 p.m. on Saturday and sold out – so you won’t want to miss that one!
